Founded in 2021 by Chris Murray (Managing Director), who has over 24 years of Human Resources experience, Vivid HR Consulting was borne out of a need to make HR accessible, relatable, and efficient for growing businesses. Chris’ experience spans multiple industries including Biotech/Pharma, Manufacturing, Offshore/Shipping, Secondary Education and Consulting. He is a strong HR Generalist with executive (VP) level experience and is hands-on, ensuring that clients receive best-in-class support at every point of service delivery. 

Chris has a broad spectrum of expertise that has touched every discipline of HR including: Employment Law, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition & Management, Training & Organizational Development,  Performance Management, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Total Rewards (Benefits, Compensation & Recognition), Payroll, HRIS/HCM Implementations, and Succession Planning.

Over the years, Chris has utilized all the major HR, HRIS, PEO, ERP system in the market – Workday, Oracle/PeopleSoft, SAP, ADP, UltiPro (UKG), Kronos, Ceridian, PayChex, Paylocity, Paycom, and many others. Technology is one of his passions and he enjoys building data analysis tools in Excel.

Inspiring higher performance is one of his passions.  He is constantly evaluating the science of human performance to transform leadership, ensure equity, and optimize organizational results. The change that companies want can be made in weeks (not years) with the right tools and professional support!

Chris is a noted thought leader in the Human Resources space with over 18,000 followers across social media platforms.  He is also a trusted content provider for job seekers through his work with “A Hire Success Career Consulting.”  Over the years, he has supported well over 500 job seekers with navigating the complex job market with insights, strategic direction, resume and interview prepping services, as well as negotiating job offers — the goal, always is to help job seekers “Be Impressive!”
